Bridges has over 7 years of teaching experience. As a graduate assistant she taught graphic arts courses at Appalachian State University in the Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology program. She then taught 1 year at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, VA in the Digital Communications program. Bridges later became professor of Digital Arts at Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, SC and served there for 3 years. She is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
Courses she has taught include: Introduction to Computer Graphics, Advanced Computer Graphics, Graphic Design & Publication, Imaging Technologies, Web Publishing, Graphic Design Portfolio, along with several others.
She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University. Bridges joined the Gardner-Webb faculty in 2008.
