Faculty Spotlight - Mrs. Tammy Hoyle
Mrs. Tammy Hoyle is the chair of the Department of Mathematical Sciences, coordinator for the Secondary Math Education Program, and assistant professor, having joined the Gardner-Webb faculty in 1990.
Mrs. Hoyle is a 1988 Graduate of Gardner-Webb with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education. She received a Master of Arts degree from Wake Forest University in 1990.
In addition to core courses, Mrs. Hoyle teaches Number Theory, Geometry, and Methods of Teaching Secondary Mathematics.
She serves as the supervisor for the secondary math student teachers. Mrs. Hoyle lives in Boiling Springs with her husband, John and son, Tanner. She and her family enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and various church activities.
