Nursing education at Gardner-Webb University consists of three programs of study: The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), The Davis Nursing Program (RN to BSN) and the Master of Science in Nursing Program (MSN). The Associate Degree in Nursing Program is fully approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. All three nursing programs at Gardner-Webb University are accredited by the National League for Nursing. Students can progress seamlessly through all three programs to achieve their educational goals at any level. Current enrollment is approximately 300 nursing students with fourteen full time faculty members. The Associate Degree Nursing Program prepares students to take the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses and can be completed in two years on the main campus at Boiling Springs. The Davis Nursing is an RN to BSN program that can be completed in two years at Boiling Springs, Statesville, Charlotte, and Winston Salem. The Master of Science in Nursing Program prepares graduate nurses in the specialty areas of Nursing Administration and Nursing Education. The MSN Program can be completed in two years with the options of combination distance learning and on traditional class room delivery on the main campus or total distance learning delivery. Post-Master’s certificate programs in Nursing Administration and Nursing Education are also available for the MSN prepared registered nurse.
