The BEST Program

Bringing Entrepreneurs and Students Together

Igniting the entrepreneurs of tomorrow, today.

Gardner-Webb University’s Godbold College of Business is committed to encouraging, educating, and engaging students in entrepreneurial skills before they have even thought about college applications.

The annual “Bringing Entrepreneurs and Students Together” (B.E.S.T.) Program offers high school students in Cleveland County a chance to experience entrepreneurialism in action, right on our campus. For rising 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders, this immersive program includes activities like:

  • Workshops on business, finance and marketing delivered by university faculty
  • Sessions on best practices from entrepreneurs in our community
  • Campus tours and activities
  • Foster and grow entrepreneurial ideas
  • DAWG House Competition

Each day, students will arrive at the university by 9 a.m. where our Leadership Team will greet them with a light breakfast. Students will then complete a series of activities through the morning, followed by lunch and more activities in the afternoon.
