Instructor Proposals:

The Center for Continuing Professional Education at Gardner-Webb University is actively recruiting instructional proposals which feature innovative ideas for classes, workshops, trainings, lectures, and other educational experiences for professional (corporations and businesses) development, personal development and leisure. Our target audience is the western North Carolina which includes the adult general public, University students, faculty and staff and those seeking professional enrichment.

Review Process:

Proposals will be reviewed and assessed by a committee of continuing education professionals. Instructors whose proposals are selected for potential development will be invited for an interview.

    • Courses offerings run from a 1/2 day session to multiple sessions over a number of weeks.

    • Course meeting times may run from 1 hour to 8 hours, with 2 to 3 hours being the most popular.
  3. What times of day may classes be offered?
    • Classes may meet throughout the day from 9am to 9pm.
  4. What is the customary compensation?
    • Instructor compensation, if applicable, will be discussed in your interview.
