Gardner-Webb’s degree completion program

Admissions Criteria

The requirements for full admission to GOAL (in all majors except nursing) are as follows:

1. 60 semester hours from an academic curricula at a regionally accredited institution approved by Gardner-Webb University.
2. All transfer credits must have a grade of “C” or better, and be in a major offered in the Gardner-Webb University catalog.
3. Completion of specific prerequisite course work as deemed necessary.
4. For admission to the BSN (B.S. in Nursing) program, please refer to the nursing program requirements.

Students may enter as new degree seeking students, as readmitted students, or as “special” non-degree seeking students.  All students  entering the degree completion program (including readmitted students) enroll under the current catalog for that given year

All students entering the program are responsible for reading and abiding by the Gardner-Webb University Code of Conduct which is located in the GOAL catalog. 

Simple Two-Step Admissions Process

Cost/Tuition

Degree completion program students pay the GOAL tuition rate per semester hour as specified in the current catalog for the academic year enrolled.  Costs per credit hour is subject to change each year and are published in each year’s current catalog.  There are no additional costs for the GOAL program. Books

GOAL students should order textbooks online (or pick them up at the Campus Shop) for ALL classes.
Professors will NOT bring books to class!
To order text books through our Campus Shop online:

• Go to http://www.shop.gardner-webb.edu/
• Click on “Ordering GOAL/Grad books online”
• Click on the Order Books Online…”
• Click on “Find/Order Books” or Proceed to Booklist”
• Select “Find Your Textbooks”,
• Select Your Program, select term (fall, spring, or summer),
• Follow the step-by-step instructions to complete your order.
