GOAL - Greater Opportunities for Adult Learners

Gardner-Webb’s degree completion program

What is Gardner-Webb's degree completion program?

Gardner-Webb University’s GOAL Program is an undergraduate degree completion program designed for working adults.  This program has been educating adults since 1978 with full SACS accreditation, small classes, caring instructors, and convenient locations.  Students learn in a Christian environment.

Students can complete their undergraduate degree in as little as two years with the necessary prerequisites.  The minimum requirements for acceptance into GOAL are two years of college (at least sixty transferable academic credit hours) from an accredited college.

GOAL offers eight majors.  All classes are offered online or in the evening, except at our Brunswick location which offers day classes.  Financial aid is always available and employer pay is honored.

GWU has 16 GOAL centers across North Carolina:

Boiling Springs, Charlotte, Dobson, Gastonia, Hamlet, Hickory, Marion, Polkton, Spindale, Spruce Pines, Statesville, Supply, Troy, Valdese, Wilkesboro, Winston-Salem.
