Q: How many credit hours are required? A: M.Div. – 90 Credit Hours (60 hr. Core + 30 hr. Concentration) D.Min. – 30 Credit Hours(18 hr. Seminars + 6 hr. Supervision + 6 hr. Ministry Project) Dual Degree Programs Q: How long does the degree take to complete? A: Full-time M.Div. and D. Min. students can complete the program in three (3) years. Q:Is Gardner-Webb Accredited? Graduate School? Specific Programs? A: The School of Divinity is accredited by The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada(ATS) as the basic professional degree. Q: Is financial aid available for graduate students? A: Yes. Scholarships and Grants are available for M.Div. students based on criteria such as church affiliation, financial need, and academic qualifications. Divinity students complete a Student Aid Profile (SAP) which is used to determine the student’s financial need. Scholarships and grants are awarded based on the results of the Student Aid Profile. A: M.Div. - Nine (9) Credit Hours or three (3) classes (3 credit hours/per class) D.Min. – This is a Part-Time student degree program. A: Divinity classes are offered in the Fall, Spring, J-Term, and Summer Sessions I & II Q: What deadlines do I need to be aware of? A: Applications for the Fall semester should be submitted no later than the first of August and applications for the Spring semester no later than the first of January. A: M.Div. – experience in the workplace is not required but highly encouraged to enhance and make practical the learning experience D.Min.. – Placement in a vocational ministry setting is required with at least three years of significant ministerial experience being beyond the first graduate theo-logical degree. Q: What should my Undergrad GPA be?
