A commitment to ongoing research
A commitment to ongoing research and analysis accompanies the work of the Lilly Program. From the onset of the program, we made a commitment to study and follow the path of students through their exploration of ministry. This commitment has resulted in the compilation of data collected in various programs, as well as a more intense study of a smaller group of students resulting in a Doctor of Ministry project by Melanie Nogalski: “Vocational Imagination: The Spirituality of Vocation Among Baptist Participants in a Youth Theology Program.” Although the Lilly Program officially ended in 2007, former program leaders continue to monitor the development and progress of students who attended the Forums.
