Checking In

Big Brothers/Sisters will assist you in the check-in process.

Orientation check-in for First Year Students is on Friday, August 14 beginning at 8:00 am and runs until 1:00 pm in Bost Gymnasium.

Check-in for Transfer Students will be on Monday, August 17 in LYCC Concourse beginning at 8:00 am and runs until 10:00 am.

Both groups must check-in at Bost Gym prior to checking in to your Residence Hall if you are a residential student.

All student bringing vehicles on campus must purchase a parking decal. Parking decals are sold for $100 per year and are purchased at the University Police table located in Bost Gym (where ID Cards will be made) during Orientation check in. Online pre-registration is required before you come to campus.

Your Gardner-Webb University Student ID Card will be made almost first-thing at Orientation during your check-in process. Don’t lose it…. Carry this ID card with you at all times! It will be your access to many facilities and events on campus. Know where your Orientation Pocketpiece is located. Oh, and don’t forget --- a pencil and paper will come in handy.

Cell Phones and Pagers need to be turned off or switched to vibrate during all Orientation Sessions.

Meals for students are free. Family members may purchase meal ticket in Bost Gym during registration. The cafeteria provides many food options to choose from. You can learn more about the Café from the Dining Services web page
