New Student Service Project


Each year new incoming students at Gardner-Webb University participate in a service project to help make a difference in the community of Boiling Springs and the surrounding areas.  This year’s missions are to reach the elderly, to help disadvantaged children, and to help the homeless.  You will be asked to bring these items according to the FIRST LETTER OF YOUR LAST NAME:

Last Name:  A-B

  • Bath gels
  • Pump hair spray (no aerosol)
  • Crossword puzzles (large print)
  • Writing tablets and pens
  • Compact Mirrors
  • Playing Cards

Last Name:  C-H

  • Canned Food
  • Ensure or Boost (Vanilla)
  • Personal Hygiene Items

Last Name:  I-P

  • School Supplies – Suggestions of greatest needs are calculators and book bags, but any supplies are welcome!

Last Name:  Q-Z

  • Shampoo
  • Deodorant
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Combs
  • Body lotion
  • Household cleaners
  • Brushes/combs
