Student Life
The Gardner-Webb campus is friendly and busy. A student can’t walk across the Quad without someone (usually a bunch of people) saying “hi.”
Student-athletes appreciate GWU’s 21 varsity sports, as well as more than 20 intramurals.
Gardner-Webb has great things in mind for all of its students. Each student’s beliefs are exponentially strengthened by getting to know the world around them.
Faculty
Faculty members at Gardner-Webb are seasoned academics and consummate professionals. Many have taught at GWU for more than 20 years.
Professors hail from such places as Duke and Columbia, and they love the small class sizes here at GWU (the student –faculty ratio is about 13 to 1).
Location
Boiling Springs, NC is a small town close to some big towns. The university is just an hour from Charlotte, which is a world-class city of half a million people.
The Blue Ridge Mountains are nearby and the beach is just four hours away.
