Undergraduate Healthcare Management Programs

Studying Healthcare Management will equip you with a strong understanding of the always-evolving healthcare industry environment and the principles and ethics of business, while also offering opportunities for internship experiences, to prepare you for a career as a manager in the field.

Through your Healthcare Management studies, you will develop an understanding of the basic concepts of human relations management, organizational behavior, and operations management.

Coupled with an emphasis on Christian business ethics and classroom knowledge of the business environment, the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management will offer you opportunities for reality-based education through an internship or practicum in the field.

Available Programs

Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management

In addition to the University’s required general education and prerequisites, the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management includes 36 credit hours in Broyhill Undergraduate School of Management core business courses, as well as 21 hours of Healthcare Management coursework.

Students in the Healthcare Management program will also be responsible for completing an internship or practicum inHealthcare Management.

Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, Online Undergraduate Program

In addition to the University’s required general education classes, students in the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management program through the Online Undergraduate Program must complete major course requirements.

Healthcare Administration Minor

The Broyhill School of Management offers a minor in Healthcare Administration, which requires 18 credit hours of coursework. When the student’s primary major requires the same course as a course required by the minor, the duplication will be resolved by selecting substitute courses in the same field of study approved by the student’s advisor.
