Home / People / Noel Manning Noel Manning Associate Vice President for Communications & Marketing Noel Manning is the Associate Vice President for Communications & Marketing. He manages a team that supports University, community and media relations. Noel has served in various communications and marketing roles within the University since 1998. He also serves as an adjunct instructor of communications and as managing editor of the award-winning University magazine. Noel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Gardner-Webb and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. Prior to joining the Gardner-Webb staff, he worked for 10 years as a broadcast journalist.
