Where the past meets the present in celebration!

Homecoming 2009 is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for October 29 - November 1 and register now to reserve your place at the many fun events planned.

Homecoming Weekend activities will feature William Paul Young, author of the break-away best seller, The SHACK, on Saturday, October 31, 2009. You are invited to hear Mr. Young share his personal story behind the writing of The SHACK from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center on campus. Additional information on this event.

Following the William Paul Young event, make plans to join the University family for a Pre-Game Block Party from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. beside Williams Observatory on Stadium Drive. Food will be for sale from local favorites (Red Bridges Barbecue Lodge, the Dairy Queen, and the Bulldog Quik Snak). Live music will be provided by The Masonboro Boys, a favorite country/rock band out of Charlotte, North Carolina. The fun also includes inflatables, and Trunk & Treating for the kids! Don't miss the GWU Runnin''' Bulldogs vs. Stony Brook Seawolves Homecoming football game!
