
BOILING SPRINGS, NC – The Gardner-Webb University School of Business is inviting everyone who enjoys the game of golf to participate in its 2nd Annual “Business at the Links” Spring Classic Golf Tournament on Friday, March 23rd at Deer Brook Golf Club, Shelby.
The Springs Classic Golf Tournament is a one-day event that features a shotgun/scramble format for individual players and teams. Entry fee is $300.00 per team or $75 per player and includes lunch, raffle ticket, hole-in-one entry contest, and a Gardner-Webb gift pack. Anyone fortunate enough to knock in a hole in one during the event will have a chance for Callaway clubs, $5,000, a seven day cruise, and two airline tickets for anywhere in the United States.
“The School of Business would be honored for anyone to come out and share a wonderful golfing experience on one of North Carolina’s quality golf courses, says Dr. James Nall, assistant professor of marketing for the Gardner-Webb School of Business and chairman of the golf committee. Nall goes on to say, “The proceeds from the tournament will be used to assist in furthering the work of the School of Business.”
The golf tournament is just another way the Gardner-Webb University School of Business continues to plan for the future off of recent success like substantial contributions and its on-going top 7 ranking of all business schools in the Carolinas according to the Charlotte Business Journal.
