BOILING SPRINGS, NC – Gardner-Webb University’s Joyful Hands Ministry Team has been invited to participate as one of the performing groups for the annual Southern Christmas Show in Charlotte this Sunday, November 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the Merchandise Mart off of Independence Blvd.
Joyful Hands is a group of over 30 deaf and hearing students who minister through the use of music and sign language. At the Southern Christmas Show, Joyful Hands will perform four Holiday songs in ASL (American Sign Language).
Overall, Joyful Hands performs for area and regional church services, on campus events, civic and special events, and works with numerous volunteer organizations like World Vision.
Now in its 41st year, The Southern Christmas Show is a regional holiday favorite that features everything from craftsmen to artisans, gourmet foods, and a variety of performers. This year’s show runs between November 13 and 23.
