Gardner-Webb Honors Students for Academic Excellence, Community Involvement


Gardner-Webb is pleased to announce that 30 students have been named to the 2017-2018 list of “Who’s Who Among Students at Gardner-Webb University.” Each year, students are selected for the designation based on scholastic performance and extra-curricular involvement.

To be considered for recognition, students must have an outstanding grade point average, participate in school organizations or leadership activities, be involved in the community, and exhibit future leadership ability or potential. Students are nominated for Who’s Who consideration by a faculty or staff member.

GWU Dean of Students Sarah Currie believes it’s important for the University to acknowledge the contributions of its stellar students. “These students have been identified by their academic performance and voted on by faculty, staff, and peers for their overall contribution to the University community,” she offered. “This event highlights a student’s academic achievement, campus leadership, and relational impact as observed by faculty & staff members.”
