Spirit of Generosity

GWU to Participate in #GivingTuesday on Nov. 28

Gardner-Webb University encourages students, alumni, employees and friends to celebrate generosity on #GivingTuesday, Nov. 28. This one-day effort to promote giving in all forms fits perfectly with the University’s mission of serving God and humanity. We invite all who love GWU to celebrate #GivingTuesday with a gift to support scholarships and help students become servant leaders in their communities.

What Is #GivingTuesday?

Held each year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday is a global movement fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.

Whether you live near Gardner-Webb or in locations around the world, you can be part of this one-day effort to give back to the institution that has benefited thousands of individuals over the years.

Make plans now to support Gardner-Webb on #GivingTuesday. Don’t forget to download your #Unselfie sign here so you can share news of your support on social media platforms. It’s all part of the fun and helps spark a contagious spirit of generosity.

In addition, Charlotte-area alumni will enjoy food, fun and fellowship at the GWU #GivingTuesday event on Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Tyber Creek on South Boulevard in Charlotte. If you’re able to attend, RSVP to Leah Clevenger.
