On warm afternoons you'll see a game of pick-up flag football on the Quad. A small group of freshmen will gather in the Fireside Lounge for their weekly Bible study while a couple will share a devotional time on a swing near the rose garden. Clubs are active in every possible field of interest from the international business club to the judo club. Several Christian organizations meet weekly including a student led worship service every Wednesday night in the Chapel. If athletics is your passion, but you are not on the University team, there are the traditional intramural sports. If sports are not your forte, there are creative intramural activities including Trivial Pursuit championships and Putt-Putt tournaments. In short, Gardner-Webb provides something for everyone. The Student Entertainment Association hosts movie nights, concerts, virtual reality games, and other fun events throughout the year. Fitness facilities are available to students including an Olympic size swimming pool, a Nautilus weight room, tennis and racquetball courts, a running track, and basketball and volleyball courts.
But no matter how you get caught up in "The Webb," one thing is certain - a positive, Christian atmosphere bonds us all together and makes student life a cornerstone of the Gardner-Webb University experience.
