Residence Life

More Than Just a Room...A Defining Life Experience!

Life on Gardner-Webb’s Campus is Relentlessly Positive

Your Residence Hall is far more than just a room with a bed and a desk; it is a vibrant community that can positively shape your college experience!

Housing on Gardner-Webb’s campus is divided into residence halls and apartments, both of which offer an array of services, lounges and wireless connectivity, co-curricular activities, and dining options.

Your academic and social life will be significantly impacted for the better by living on campus. Recent studies show that resident students transition more smoothly into campus life and graduate more quickly than non-resident students. This positive environment is most successful when each resident participates in his or her housing community!

Living on Campus

Our mission is to provide safe, comfortable accommodations that optimize the spiritual, academic, and social development of every student. Living on campus enables you to have a truly holistic university experience by making it that much easier to become involved in the university community, while still being focused on academics.

First Year Living Community

The first year of college can be very challenging for new students. We recognize that students will have understandable concerns about being away from home, making new friends, and coping with the rigors of collegiate academic coursework. Guided by the best practice of creating a cohort and a common sense of identity as a foundation for success, the First Year Living Community provides students with the opportunity to attend fun and engaging programs that are designed to provide participants with opportunities to make connections with peers and become familiar with the Gardner-Webb community.
