Each hall is a place where students experience new people and learn about who they are and the "life skills" that will provide a base for success.
Living in a residence hall is an important element of the GWU experience. In the residence hall environment, students can achieve academic goals and success as well as endeavor to find spiritual renewal and growth. GWU sets high academic standards and expects students to invest in their education, while placing great emphasis on spiritual development. The values of Christian higher education are at the core of the GWU and Residence Education mission and goals. The Residence Education department aims to make each hall a place where students experience a variety of different people and learn more about who they are and the "life skills" that will provide a base for a successful future. Ultimately, GWU residence halls are a place where each student can be comfortable, relaxed, rested, and peaceful.
