Nestled in the woods on Gardner-Webb University’s campus, the Broyhill Adventure Course facilitates positive change by promoting both group development and personal growth. Using a combination of high and low ropes activities the adventure course challenges participants to improve communication skills, enhance self-esteem, apply problem solving techniques, and further develop cooperation in group and team situations. Through guided reflection, participants are encouraged to find correlations between their experience and their everyday lives.
