Our Mission and Goals
The Housing and Residence Education Department participates in the total development of the residential student by providing safe, comfortable and functional accommodations in an environment conducive to Christian higher education. Toward this end, the Department utilizes staff and peer interaction in a variety of educational opportunities and community building endeavors to enhance student learning and personal development. The Department promotes individual responsibility through policiies that encourage personal decision-making and autonomy, while preserving an educational atmosphere that is consistent with Christian values and the mission of the institution.
Residence Hall living cherishes diversity and celebrates similarities as well as promotes active citizenship and encourages the development of positive self-image.
