#DoubleDawgDay Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is #DoubleDawgDay and when will it take place?

#DoubleDawgDay is a powerful annual event that unites, strengthens and celebrates the Gardner-Webb University community by raising vital funds for scholarships that directly support our students. This year, #DoubleDawgDay takes place on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, with activities on the University’s main campus in Boiling Springs, N.C., as well as other locations, including celebrations in Charlotte, N.C. and Greenville, S.C.

Why is #DoubleDawgDay different from any other day?

On #DoubleDawgDay, every gift made to the Gardner-Webb Annual Fund will be matched by a generous University donor. That means twice the financial support and impact for our students.

Why should I ask someone to give on #DoubleDawgDay?

You should encourage your friends, family members, colleagues, fellow alumni, and others to contribute on #DoubleDawgDay because every gift will have a direct impact on the future of Gardner-Webb students and the University community. And it is the one day of the year when each gift counts twice!

Can anyone participate in #DoubleDawgDay?

Yes! Everyone can support #DoubleDawgDay. No direct Gardner-Webb University connection is required.

How do I make a gift?
