Coordinator of Undergraduate Nursing Admissions

The Hunt School of Nursing invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Undergraduate Nursing Admissions. This position will report directly to the Director of the Hunt School of Nursing and will work closely with Undergraduate Admissions, Chair of Pre-Licensure Nursing Programs, and students. This is a 40 hour per week, campus based position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance of all pre-licensure student records. Duties may include: Processing all undergraduate nursing admission applications, communication with potential students and other key University personnel, managing confidential student records, assisting with establishment and maintenance of accreditation documents, management of documents and online systems, annual reports, and other administrative tasks as directed by the Director and Program Chair.

Candidates must have a demonstrated:

  • high level of competency in computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, power point, mail merge, etc.
  • ability to handle multiple time driven tasks with little supervision and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • ability to learning new skills quickly.
  • ability accepting increasing levels of responsibility as directed by the Director.
  • ability identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • ability to take initiative in working both independently and in cooperation with others. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience preferred
  • Associates degree preferred
