The Office of Retention guides students in developing plans to achieve academic success.

Mission

It is our department’s mission to assist traditional undergraduate students by utilizing university resources and researched best practices. We guide students in developing personalized academic success plans, an understanding of their financial aid awards and funding options, and general success strategies that lead to completion of their educational goal. It is our hope that we support our students in a way that encourages positive growth academically, socially, and spiritually. In doing so, we also support community stakeholders (students, parents, alumni, community, faculty, administration, and staff) of the university, through efforts toward improvement of our retention and graduation rates.

We are available to meet with students and/or parents to discuss and work towards the resolution of any issue you may be dealing with that is making success difficult. Call, email, or drop by our office at your convenience and let us help you move forward.
