Professor Ellington’s work has focused on the role of the Virgin Mary in medieval and early modern Europe. A Medieval-Renaissance Fellow at Duke University whose work has won multiple awards and scholarships, Dr. Ellington teaches courses on Medieval Spirituality, the History of Britain, Renaissance and Reformation Europe, and Western Civilization.
