Graduates hold positions in account management, financial planning, nonprofit management, consulting, investment, real estate, retail, and more.

Gardner-Webb University provides you with a unique opportunity to complete your Bachelor’s Degree. Since 1978, GOAL-The Degree Completion Program has been offering undergraduate classes at more convenient times and locations for students seeking a non-traditional approach to completing their degree.

By majoring in Business, you will gain a flexible skillset offering many choices for career paths in business, management, finance, and nonprofit organizations. Your options include positions in account management, financial planning, nonprofit management, consulting, investment, real estate, retail, and more.

Some of our alumni pursue an advanced degree, including the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree offered by Gardner-Webb.

Management students will engage in curriculum topics including applied business statistics, quantitative methods, financial management, international business, integration of faith and business, human resource management, leadership, and more.

In addition to the University’s required general education classes, students in the Bachelor of Science in Management program through the GOAL- The Degree Completion Program must complete major course requirements.

Prerequisites for major course requirements include Accounting Principles (two courses), Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Business Communicatoins, Business Law, Principles of Marketing, Principles of Management, English 101, English 102, and College Algebra or equivalent.

  3. Submission of official transcripts from any institution attended during the interim if applying for readmission as a former student.

Applicants must have earned at least 24 hours of college credit; those with 48 or more transferable hours may be admitted without additional review. Applicants with fewer than 48 transferable hours will work with their assigned Success Coach in collaboration with the academic program leadership of the applicant’s chosen major program of study to produce a written curriculum plan establishing a clear path to graduation.

Gardner-Webb partners with community colleges in NC for our Pathways program, which offers the opportunity for community college students to transfer credits from their Associates in an Applied Science degree toward a corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered by GOAL-The Degree Completion Program.

Additionally, Gardner-Webb University is a participating institution in the North Carolina Community College Articulation Agreement for an Associates of Arts and Associates of Science degree, offering greater transfer opportunities for continuing your education. The University also participates in the North Carolina RN to BSN Uniform Articulation Agreement, allowing registered nurses who hold an Associate in Nursing degree from a NC Community College to complete a BSN in as little as 1 year following the NCCC RN-BSN 5 block degree program.
