Dr. Lori Nanney wins the GOAL-DCP faculty member of the year award

2018 GOAL - The Degree Completion Program Faculty Member of the Year

Dr. Lori Nanney has been awarded the full time GOAL - The Degree Completion Program faculty member of the year.

The award, presented by Dr. Catherine Burr, represents a faculty member that supports GOAL - The Degree Completion Program students through frequent communication and multiple styles of facilitation. Dr. Nanney’s student engagement is enhanced through weekly Zoom sessions to ensure students are gaining key information.

Dr. Jennifer Putnam

2018 Alfred & Shirley Wampler Caudill Rising Star Award

Dr. Jennifer Putnam has been awarded the 2018 Alfred & Shirley Wampler Caudill Rising Star Award for her teaching and dedicated service to students and Gardner-Webb University.

The Award is presented at the annual Faculty Retreat to a full-time faculty member employed five or fewer years. The criteria for the award are demonstrated excellence, or promise of excellence, in scholarship, teaching, and service.
