Globally Engaged

Gardner-Webb University's International Programs

Whether for an academic year, one semester, a month, or even just a week, spending time abroad adds dimension to your academic and personal development that can only be described as life-changing.

To be immersed in another culture provides a different way of looking at life, other people, and other places. Perhaps most importantly, experiences in other countries bring about an examination of your own value system as it relates to life in general, both here and abroad. We encourage you to take advantage of the numerous opportunities for international multi-cultural experiences that will become not only an unforgettable but also an integral part of your life.

Prospective International Exchange Students

An exchange student is any student from our GWU overseas partner institutions, who is interested in studying for one semester or two at Gardner-Webb University. This student should have been approved by his or her home institution to study in the United States for a specific period and this approval should have been communicated to the Office of International Programs at least a semester before the student’s arrival on our campus.

For more information on exchange opportunities at Gardner-Webb University, first contact your university’s International Office for instructions.

Exchange Partnerships

Gardner-Webb is an exchange partner with universities in eight countries and has affiliations with 10 others. Through the exchange program, tuition costs are the same.
