The focus of the Gardner-Webb University alumni chapter program is to engage and prepare alumni to act as ambassadors of GWU. Each Alumni Chapter is organized and operated by a committed volunteer leadership board. The GWU Alumni Relations office acts as a support system for developing alumni chapters and assists with event planning and chapter activities.

Alumni Chapters Seek to Accomplish these Goals:

  • To increase connectivity with alumni through events and social gatherings
  • To share pride in GWU
  • To inform alumni about events and opportunities to return to GWU
  • To facilitate alumni networking and enhance career opportunities
  • To extend GWU’s caring through community-based philanthropic activities

Gardner-Webb is new to Chapter Development. We currently have 3 active chapters: Greenville, SC; Charlotte, NC; and The DMV (D.C., Maryland, and Virginia).
