Admissions and Enrollment

The University welcomes prospective students and their families to learn more about GWU.

As of July 24, 2020

They are invited to experience our campus in person, or from home through a virtual visit. Both options provide the opportunity to learn about the campus, the programs, the admissions process, and a chance to talk with an admissions counselor and a current student.

How will personal campus tours be different (individually and group)?

Campus tours are still available in person or virtually. Physical distancing and health/safety-related protocols will be followed for in-person visits (groups or individuals). Students and families can explore the tour and upcoming dates options by checking out

What hours/days are available for personal campus tours?

Tour hours and days may vary, but you can check out the latest information on scheduling a visit

How can I find a virtual campus tour/information session if I’d like?

You can attend a virtual Dawg Day, engage in a virtual tour, meet virtually with an Admissions counselor, or meet virtually with financial planning. You can find most of that information

Will Dawg Days or other showcase campus visit days still happen?

Currently, Dawg Days are being hosted virtually. Here are those details.

Will enrollment advisors/recruitment officers be making tours to college fairs across the region?

Yes, Gardner-Webb plans to participate in available college fairs and tours (physical or virtual).

If students would rather opt for remote-only learning this fall, is that an option? If so, how?

The student should contact an academic advisor. The advisor will be able to provide the student with information on the availability of online courses for the student’s program. Not all courses are available online.
