World-Class Online Higher Education

Birth-Kindergarten Education Online

Experience Is The Difference

Gardner-Webb University has been offering online education since 1999, before some of our competitors even existed.

We were founded in 1905, and have long had a commitment to reaching our students anywhere they are. And while our beautiful campus is in the foothills of western North Carolina, our students are all around the globe.

Whatever online goal you seek, an undergraduate or graduate degree or innovative professional continuing education programs, you’ve come to the right place.

Birth-Kindergarten Education

Students will be prepared to teach in, administer, and direct early learning environments from ages birth to five. The program integrates a core set of pedagogy courses, clinical experiences, and practical applications of child development and early learning.

As a student in the Birth to Kindergarten program at GWU, you will learn about the development stages children experience from birth through age five. By studying the learning characteristics of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, you will acquire useful techniques and strategies to measure cognitive, social, emotional and communication development. Students may choose a licensure or non-licensure track. The 120-credit-hour program will be offered on the Boiling Springs campus as well as in distance and online formats.

At Gardner-Webb University Online, our programs are never one size fits all. Communicate with your personal program advisor to discover just how affordable, flexible, and easy it can be to attain your degree. Ignite Your Future; let’s get started today.
