The CompT1A Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification is designed for validating an intermediate level of cybersecurity skills. These include risk analysis, threat detection, system configuration, and data analysis and interpretation to secure and protect applications and systems within an organization. Students and professionals who complete this program will learn to improve their Cybersecurity skills and better understand threat detection and new techniques for combating these issues.
Upon completion of this course, students will have the knowledge and skills required to leverage intelligence and threat detection techniques, analyze and interpret data, identify and address vulnerabilities, suggest preventative measures, converse with other security apparatus, and effectively respond to and recover from incidents
The program is designed for those looking to increase their knowledge and skills in mid-level cybersecurity jobs such as IT Specialist, Security Analyst, Threat Intelligence Analyst, Application Security Analyst, Incident Response or Handler, Security Engineer, Threat Hunter, and Compliance Analyst to mention a few.

What to Expect:
Students will attend three in-person sessions on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Additionally, students can expect to complete online learning and research.
