Gardner-Webb University’s Professional and Continuing Education program offers very specific, courses to enhance the skill levels of professionals ranging from entry level to mid-management, executive, and beyond.These courses provide you with real world capabilities, based on current trends and research, that will advance your career and improve your effectiveness.The GWU PACE Program offers CEU credits and certificate programs from different disciplines to help you improve your skills and impact society. It also offers fully customized training modules in partnership with corporations and other institutions that govern and issue discipline or specialized certificates.
All short (1, 2 or 3 days; some for few weeks) courses are taught by GWU faculty members and come with a certificate of completion.

In the Paralegal Certificate Program students will learn an overview of the law, and will receive training to prepare legal documents, research the law, interview witnesses, and assist in preparation for litigation. The program is designed for those looking to increase their knowledge and training in the legal workplace, or seeking a career as a paralegal.
This course is designed to provide insight into personal credit and the credit underwriting process. The topics covered will include the five C’s of credit, the three credit reporting bureaus, and how to receive and review your personal credit report.
This course will teach you the ABC’s of creating your own family business. These will include registering the business, financing, marketing and the pit-falls to avoid. No prior experience in business is needed to take this course.
The TEAS prep course will review information needed to be successful when taking the TEAS qualifying exam. You will have an instructor review the english, math and science portions of the exam. Research shows that reading the Psalms reduces anxiety. This class will explore research and practical application of the Psalms to daily stressors and pandemic stress. This is a hands-on, interactive learning experience.
You will learn from using the basic American Sign language to the advanced in your daily communication. This will be “hands-on” and practical workshop to get you started in communicating with the American Sign language. It will be four sessions from June 19th to July 10th. A certificate will be awarded at the end of this class.
This course will assist individuals in understanding the different types of life insurance (whole, term, universal, etc.) and which life situations would each category best apply for protection of personal assets and family planning.
Paul is one of the most influential thinkers in Christian history. What did he believe about Jesus’ second coming and the end times? This course will explore Paul’s New Testament writings and pay special attention to the passages in which Paul discusses Jesus’ return. This is an interactive learning experience that will engage students personally as we read the Bible together.

Taught by Godbold School of Business professors. Microsoft Excel 1,2 and 3 workshops are designed for all excel basic users who wish to learn from basic to intermediate to advance functions of Microsoft Excel for their business, school, or place of work. This workshop will cover the use of formulas in a table, prepare a workbook for distribution, work with PivotTable, GETPIVOTDATA, etc. At the end of the interactive workshop, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
This course uses the guitar as a tool for teaching worship leadership skills in both contemporary and traditional church music settings. Emphasis is placed on basic guitar skills including: reading chord charts, lead sheet literacy, music terminology, and self-accompaniment.
