Professor of Christian Theology, School of Divinity;
Executive Director, Doctor of Ministry Program

Dr. Ben Leslie is Professor of Christian Theology and Ethics in the School of Divinity. He also directs the Doctor of Ministry program, Ministry Leadership Development, and oversees the Pittman Center for Congregational Enrichment.

Before joining the faculty of the School of Divinity, Dr. Leslie served as Provost and Executive Vice President (2006-2022), overseeing the faculty, teaching, learning and research initiatives of Gardner-Webb University. He was Dean of the Faculty and Prof. of Christian Ethics and Theology at Sioux Falls Seminary (SD) from 1990-2006. His research interests have focused on the theology of Karl Barth, Baptist history, and spiritual  formation.
