Her career in education started out in the K-12 classroom as an Eighth Grade English Language Arts Teacher in Anderson, S.C. She transitioned into higher education, serving as the director of Admissions at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Carolinas Campus in Spartanburg, S.C. Dr. Brashier has a Bachelor of Arts in English, Creative Writing with a minor in political science from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va. She received her Master of Education in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., and earned her Doctor of Education in Professional Leadership from Converse University in Spartanburg, S.C.
