Home / People / Matthew Sparks Matthew Sparks Director of Admissions School of Divinity Matthew “Matt” Sparks is director of admissions for the School of Divinity. He also serves as the youth and college pastor at Boiling Springs (N.C.) Baptist Church. Previously, he worked in education as an EC (Exceptional Children’s) Teacher at North Shelby (N.C.) School where he taught social studies and English. He served his country as a security forces member in the United States Air Force for six years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Religion: Biblical Studies and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministries: Discipleship and Church Ministry from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Va. He plans to complete his Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies in Spring 2025 from Liberty University Rawlings School of Divinity. He enjoys spending time with his family, ministering, expositional preaching, watching documentaries with his wife, and listening to music.
