Norma Mott, MSN, RN

Instructor of Nursing

Norma received her MSN in Nursing Education from Gardner-Webb University and her BSN from Winston-Salem State University. Mott is a veteran of the United States Air Force serving as a technician on intercontinental ballistic missiles. After leaving active duty, she served as an aeromedical evacuation technician aboard C-130s in the NC Air National Guard. That is where she first fell in love with healthcare. That chance assignment changed the trajectory of her life, leading her to nursing. She has been a nurse for 29 years, the last seven years spent as a full-time nursing instructor. She has been married to her husband Carroll for 33 years. They have one daughter Rebecca, who is also a nurse. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and traveling far and wide, including annual mission trips to Guatemala. She loves music and sharing her testimony through her alter-ego Maudine.
