Many of our students have gone into full-time or part-time Christian ministry while others have chosen to pursue advanced degrees. In both cases they have developed skills to minister in God’s kingdom. You can earn this degree completely online!
In addition to developing basic skills in biblical interpretation, critical thinking and communication, Christian Ministry students gain an understanding of spiritual formation, philosophy, Christian theology and history, and ministry. The program also offers opportunities to prepare for higher education in university, divinity or seminary studies.
Gardner-Webb’s Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry provides a fully accredited baccalaureate degree in religion. Graduates will be prepared to assume positions in churches or social agencies or to go on to seek higher academic degrees at a university, school of divinity, or seminary.
In addition to the University’s required general education and prerequisites, the Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry through the Degree Completion Program requires 38 hours in the major, 20 of which must be completed with the University.
