Registered Nurses holding a baccalaureate or master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution with a nationally accredited nursing program are eligible to apply to Gardner-Webb’s Nursing Certificate programs. Two options are available; Nursing Administration and Nursing Education
The purpose of the Nursing Administration Certificate is to provide the opportunity for registered nurses to expand their professional role by gaining specialized knowledge in the area of nursing administration.

The purpose of the Nursing Education Certificate is to facilitate the education of nurses for roles as nurse educators in an academic or clinical setting. Students completing the Nursing Education Certificate requirements are academically prepared to take a national certification examination for Nurse Educators.
The United States Department of Education requires institutions who offer Gainful Employment Programs to disclose specific data about each program to prospective students. The disclosure information is intended to help students make informed decisions about enrolling in a GE Program.
Students completing the Nursing Administration Certificate requirements are academically prepared to take a national certification examination for Nurse Executives.
By completing the Nursing Education Certificate, you will meet the 10 credit hours of graduate education courses requirement to teach in pre-licensure nursing programs.
