All databases and electronic books are available from off campus. Simply enter your GWU username and password (the same as your email and Blackboard credentials) to access. Please use our online Chat feature to talk with a librarian if you have questions. You can schedule in-depth reference consultations via Zoom by completing the form on the library’s webpage. Also, the library is waiving any overdue fees during this time. Please just return or renew the books when you come back to campus.
The library is open to GWU faculty, staff, and students.

The entrance doors to the library are locked 15 minutes prior to closing.
The mission of the Friends program is to promote Dover Library as a resource to the University and the community. The Friends help to foster student success and membership growth as well as support library staff development, collection enhancement and program development. These advocacy and fundraising efforts assist the Dover Library in meeting its mission—fostering the pursuit of lifelong learning.
