Reference Chat is intended primarily for the students, faculty, and staff of Gardner-Webb University to assist with questions related to research or library resources. Reference Chat is staffed by Gardner-Webb librarians during regular business hours and weekday evenings. Chat questions are answered as quickly as possible (usually within minutes unless they are away from the desk helping other patrons). A North Carolina-based after-hours chat reference service monitors Chat on the weekends when Gardner-Webb librarians are unavailable.
