Expanding Skills & Advancing Futures

Navigating the Opportunities of the Career Journey

Center for Personal and Professional Development

The Center for Personal and Professional Development staff believes that strong partnerships help our students become ready for the world of work.

The Center endeavors to resource and partner with students in the process of developing skills and gaining experiences in and out of the classroom. The goal is for students to be ready to take their first steps into life beyond college and the world of work. We work with students to harness talents and experiences, vocalize abilities, and build confidence in an effort to generate all the tools needed to begin a career journey. Our goal is to walk alongside each student in a supportive and encouraging environment as they gain skills, acquire tools, and practice techniques to make the career journey a successful one.

These upcoming workshops are planned in the Tucker Student Center Theater:

8/31 Focus: Time Management and Goal Setting
