Nursing Preview Day

Interactive Experience Gives High School Juniors and Seniors Insight into GWU Nursing Program

Nursing Preview Day

Gardner-Webb Nursing Preview Day on Nov. 2 welcomes high school juniors and seniors to the GWU Campus to experience the program firsthand.

“Nursing Preview Day is a great opportunity for prospective and nursing-interested students to interact with the Hunt School of Nursing faculty and students,” shares Marie Davis, Coordinator of Undergraduate Admissions for the Hunt School of Nursing.

“Prospects will be given the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, simulations, and have a chance to receive insight from our current students,” Davis adds. “It’s a great day for both the prospects and parents to be involved and get a glimpse of what it would be like to be a nursing student and a parent of a nursing student.”

While students participate in classroom activities, parents will learn more about admissions and financial aid. They will also tour the College of Health Sciences and speak with nursing instructors and students.
