Housing Sign-Ups is Fast Approaching!

During the Spring 2019 Semester  continuing/returning residential students will have the ability to participate in a process known as Housing Sign-Ups in which they select their room for the Fall 2019/Spring 2020 Academic Year. The Housing Sign-Ups Process is divided into multiple Room Selection Phases. Some of these phases are online and some of them require your student to go to the Housing and Residence Education Office located in the Tucker Student Center. Information outlining the Housing Sign-Ups Process has been provided to your students over the past several weeks. Additionally, a pamphlet detailing the Housing Sign-Ups Process will be delivered to each residence hall room/apartment/suite in the near future by Housing Staff.

It is our goal to make the Housing Sign-Ups Process as easy to navigate as possible. However, it is important to realize that the Housing Sign-Ups Process is very date-specific. Furthermore, it is necessary for your student to have a completed housing application for the 2019/2020 Academic Year, along with submitting a $150.00 deposit to be able to participate in any room selection phase of the Housing Sign-Ups Process. In our communication to students we have recommended that they submit their housing application and deposit before the Housing Sign-Ups Process is scheduled to begin. Housing Sign-Ups is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 18, 2019 at approximately 8:00am Eastern Standard Time.

Below is a link that will take you to a webpage on the Housing and Residence Education site that has three video tutorials that can help you and your student in learning how to navigate the Housing Sign-Ups Process. One video details how to complete a housing application. One video details our Room Reclaim Room Selection Phase of Housing Sign-Ups. The third video details how to navigate our Hall-to-Hall, Suite-to-Suite, Apartment-to-Apartment, and Open Room Selection Phases of our Housing Sign-Ups Process.
