Greetings GWU Parents and Families!

Welcome to the New Year and New Decade. I hope your family had an enjoyable holiday. The campus is beginning to return to normalcy as students have started to arrive back to campus. Students are the life of the University.

As we head into the spring semester I wanted to use the monthly newsletter to highlight several opportunities for your student at the beginning of this semester.

  1. Club Fair on Wednesday, January 8th in TSC- the University has over 60 clubs and organizations on campus. The Club Fair provides an opportunity for students to become familiar with clubs on campus, catch up with friends, and score free pizza and orangeade.
  2. Searching for Jobs and Internships on Thursday, January 23rd in TSC Theater- this seminar is led by the Center for Personal and Professional Development. Summer will be here quickly it is great opportunity to get ahead.
  3. Civil Rights Museum in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, February 29th - this trip is a partnership between Student Activities and Multicultural Affairs.

If I can be of any assistance this semester please don’t hesitate to contact me. And last come visit the campus this semester.

Thank you,

Dr. Sarah A. Currie
