Greetings Gardner-Webb Parents and Families,

Give thanks to the lord, call on his name; make know among
the nations what he has done.”   1 Chronicles 16:8

With the advent of November, we are entering the “home stretch” of the fall semester!  Students are undoubtedly feeling the stress of completing papers and projects in preparation for final exams.  The faculty and staff are invested in the success of every student!  We are here to help navigate difficult times, so remind your student to use the resources available in the Tucker Student Center: Advising, Tutoring and Writing Services, Counseling Center, Multicultural Affairs, and Christian Life.

It is busy time here in the Office of International Student Services, as we host events throughout the month that highlight our international students and staff at Gardner-Webb University. Our schedule will culminate with several activities during the worldwide celebration of International Education Week, November 17-23.  All student are encouraged to participate!  Over 80 students representing 30+ countries have chosen GWU to complete their education, while immersing themselves in American culture.  By supporting study abroad and exchange opportunities for all of our students, GWU demonstrates the importance of every student developing a global view that considers the world beyond his or her backyard.  If you or your student would like more information on opportunities to connect with our international student population, drop in my office, email, or give me a call.

Below is the schedule of events for November.  I hope you all enjoy the Thanksgiving season with family and friends, giving thanks for the blessings of the season.
