Areas of Interest

Enrollment

Parents and families are great ambassadors for the University. Gardner-Webb University is excited about expanding our footprint locally to globally. If you are interested in helping enlarge the University’s reach there are many ways to serve alongside the admissions teams through participating in off-campus events, serving on event panels, and providing support to other families.

Advancement

Throughout your student’s academic career you will play an important part in supporting his or her college experience beyond tuition and books. So much of what you want your student to learn happens outside the class room. Your thoughtful contributions will help provide ongoing opportunities and support initiatives critical to the mission of the University. Even though your student may only be here for a few years, your family will be linked to the Gardner-Webb University community throughout your life.

Student Success

Parents and families play a unique role in the success of their students through guidance and support.  Through the Parent and Family Association, you will have the opportunity to impact a variety of affinity groups such as first generation, athletic, minority, and international students.  Parents and families can be involved through mentorship of both parents and students, financial support, and participation in various Gardner-Webb University sponsored events.
